Amy Pfeiler is the owner of Elite Nutrition.
Amy received extensive training in the nutrition field from the Cooper Institute. Amy's life in nutrition started 12 years ago as a Nutrition Educator and Weight Loss Consultant for a major weight loss corporation. During those 12 years Amy taught Lifestyle weight management classes to groups of men and women in the Chicagoland area.
Not only will Amy help you learn to eat sensibly and change your eating habits, but she has a wonderful handy machine to give you the exact amount of calories you need to eat each day to lose weight. Amy offers on site Metabolic Testing. This is the same Metabolic Testing machine that is used in hospitals. Amy brings the machine to doctor's offices and best of all right to you in the comfort of your home. The test is painless and lasts about 10 to 15 minutes. At the end of the test, you will have a blue print of your metabolism. The test will also tell you exactly the amount of calories you need to ingest to either lose weight, gain weight or maintain your weight. Many times Amy can work the billing right into your insurance plan through your doctor.
Amy not only loves to help her clients feel better with her nutrition knowledge, but she also loves to use her cosmetic knowledge to help her clients feel brand new. Amy studied cosmetology under the tutelage of Yves Rocher in Germany. After working with Yves, she studied with the Skincare Institute in Chicago and founded A Blaze Cosmetics. Amy worked with the theater crowd at the Civic Opera House honing her skills. She also has had the pleasure of teaching the blind how to apply makeup. She has worked with Plastic Surgeons in helping their patients learn how to use makeup to cover facial traumas, burns and skin cancer.
