Jeanne Penton
Jeanne has ten years of experience in the fitness industry. She's nationally certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. Jeanne is a certified yoga instructor, public speaker, and is on the faculty of the department of Health and Human Performance at McHenry County College in Crystal Lake. She has worked with many populations including children, seniors, physically disabled, post-cardiac, diabetics, pre-post natal, athletes, and general population fitness enthusiasts.
Jeanne has shared her knowledge and passion for wellness with many groups, having worked with corporations, schools, churches, and most recently, implementing a wellness initiative for a Wisconsin fire department. Her philosophy of wellness involves finding balance with traditional fitness components such as strength, flexibility, and endurance, skill components such as agility, balance, and coordination, and emotional components such as self-acceptance, body awareness, and stress management.
Jeanne graduated from Loyola University with a B.S. in psychology, and is finishing her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She has extensive experience and knowledge in behavior modification, stress management, and body image. It is her goal and desire to provide her clients with the best and the most current advice and instruction available.
Jeanne offers one hour sessions of in home yoga and in home personal training in Sycamore, Dekalb, Pingree Grove, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Algonquin, Huntley, Crystal Lake, Elgin, Itasca, Marengo, Arlington Heights, Gilberts, St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Roselle, and surrounding towns.
