Hot Gingered Cider
Toast the fall season with this tasty apple cider. It’s sure to add pizazz to your next gathering of family or friends.
Yields 4 servings
2 cups ginger ale
2 cups apple cider
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons mulling spices or 1 broken cinnamon stick and 1 tablespoon whole cloves
1 one inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
1) In medium sauce pan combine ginger ale, apple cider, lemon juice, mulling spices and fresh ginger. Cook over medium low heat for 5 to 10 minutes or until heated (do not boil). Strain and discard spices.
2) To serve, ladle mixture into heatproof glass mugs or cups
