Julie Tidwell
Julie Tidwell is the owner and massage therapist for Therapeutic Connections Massage & Wellness. Her career in massage therapy began in 1999 when she graduated from the nationally accredited school, Chicago School of Massage Therapy. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and licensed by the state of Illinois. Her background comes from working at upscale spas, fitness centers, a chiropractic office as well as in business environments.
Julie specializes in pain and stress reduction, head aches, and sports massage. Her approach to massage is to get her clients involved in their own healing process. During her treatments she will often show clients ways to stretch their muscles enhancing their therapy, and discuss other ways to reduce stress being held in the body.
Her intent is to help each of her clients achieve a more balanced life and pain free living through alternative therapies. Julie believes that massage is a tool to help the body engage its own healing powers. All of her massage sessions are customized to meet the needs of each individual client.
